Georgia State University Winter Break Closure
Georgia State University will be closed for winter break from Saturday, December 19, 2020 through Sunday, January 3, 2021. We will reopen on Monday, January 4.
- If you have an immigration emergency, please call Georgia State University Police at 404-413-3333, and they will connect you with the appropriate assistance.
Examples of an immigration emergency include:
o Detainment at a U.S. port of entry by immigration officials
o Arrest or incarceration in the United States by police or immigration officials
o Immediate threat of deportation
Please note: Failure to have the proper travel signature on your I-20 or DS-2019 is NOT considered an immigration emergency.
- If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.
A life-threatening emergency is a situation with a severe or immediate risk to your physical or mental health, or to your life.
- For all other non-life-threatening emergencies, please call Georgia State University police at 404-413-3333.
